I figure with all the time I spend online, taking in news from the web that I should create a place to put my favorite stories. What remains to be seen is how much sticking power I will have. Goal: six months. Its a good time to be starting this as the major fashion weeks are just around the corner. I wont only be putting up fashion news, but other worldly news I find relevant.

To begin, here are some videos that have stopped me in my tracks this week. Short, entertaining, inspiring, I hope you like them too...
Soliloquy 88 from Hintmag.com on Vimeo.
This is a preview of Rodarte's SS '11 line that I am obviously looking forward to. For a label that was fairly commercial early on, I like the direction they're going in. The buyers can take it or leave it
Soeaking of Rodarte....
This is the movie trailer for a new film coming out called Black Swan featuring Natalie Portman, Vincent Cassel and... Mila Kunis (really? whatever.. Im sure shes great in it). Rodarte designed the ballet outfits. The Rodarte connection seems about perfect because just like the label, this film itself seems to have that dark, yet oh-so-beautiful thing going on.
Finally, here is a video I saw a week or two ago and just downright love. Its a preview of Alice + Olivia's FW '10 line featuring some DJ I dont know and a violinist I had never before heard of. Between the electronic music (!), the violin (!!) and the clothes (!!!), the video is awesome and I wouldn't mind having this song on my ipod.
Ever consider wearing orange lip stick before? I havent, but I am thinking about it now...
